At some point they decide to just order quesolupas and baja blast because you can't race war on an empty stomach.

See that's what's interesting about Trump. He does have a base of obviously racist people, but I've seen other folks of all kinds of ethnicities backing him as well. I mean, Ben Carson for crying out loud Endorses him now. That's just bizarre.

I don't like Trump, I don't like Clinton, and I kind of like Sanders, but honestly I think he's done.

This country is in for a ride regardless of who is elected now. We could see the next world war, or a civil war depending on who they elect. Sigh.

Why can't we all just get along.

This is something we are missing as a country and it's sad.

"Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"

I'm just hoping Trump is really just looking out for the greater good and manipulates it into a suicide cult :idk:

Maybe that could make America great. I leave out the 'again' because America has only ever been great for the most privileged of identities. America never has been great. Except maybe in pre-colonialism, then it was fine.

"MAKE (SOUTH) AMERICA GREAT AGAIN"

If you play ball in the campaign now, you get a job later. And racist people always need an Uncle Tom to show that they're not racist.

I don't think Trump personally is a racist, but the things he says and many of his supporters clearly are.

Yeah Carson is not representative of ethnicity. You have to actually be someone who walks down the street or drives their own car to get racially profiled. Carson ain't exactly a trill ass negro. Money and connections can buy privilege. Carson doesn't speak for a race by any means, and definitely not for "the struggle."

Does anyone speak for the collective whole of any race? I didn't know that.

So by your definition, in order to be white, I have to most likely be a redneck and fly a confederate flag?

Drump incites racism and fear: Identify enemies, rally troops. Old tactic. As old as the KKK--a concept & group he likely appropriated from, in military academy.

Yeah Trump absolutely is 100% in favor of institutionalized and systemic racism, sexism, islamaphobia, ablism, classism etc.

As are every single one of his supporters. It's a very easy assessment I think.

Pure scum.

I think john was saying the opposite of that, that no one speaks for a collective race or identity group, but that Carson is wildly detached from the average black experience that white Trump supporters are assigning to him.

also, re: Anonymous
On Thursday, Anonymous released Trump's Social Security number, cellphone number and other private, albeit more widely known information about him, such as the names of his parents, children, legal representation and agent.

The hacktivist group posted the information to Pastebin.com and Ghostbin.com, where users can store text for a fixed amount of time, and included links to the pages in the description of a related YouTube video.

I am actually pretty excited for the prospect of a brokered convention from a wonk perspective.
