I just imagined going to a concert where you see a band on stage rocking out with no sound happening at all, not even from the drums. It's a really funny picture in my mind

soooooo... me and The Paul are off to do our (at least mines overall, his with me) first ever instrumental set. kinda interesting. only 2 of our songs from the set we were working from work without vocals, so we wrote 3 new songs in the last 3 practices, bare bones one idea to jam out on.... it's ABOUT 25 mins for a 30 min set. thank Boogaly we're opening at a smaller divey place.

also, i feel like a complete cock nibbler. i have 6 or 7 unanswered pms, and all y'all compromise like 60% of my friends. at LEAST. i'm stoopid laggy lately.

it was a blast. my attempt to interact with people (this setup kinda makea me.... the frontman? by default?) were comical. we're really thinking about using Haki's Solution next show m

but it was SO fun. we wrote half the set over about 6 hrs of practice, so i was happy with how together that stuff sounded. neat part was we totally BLATTERRED a few sections, but we know enough well enough we just went with it then came back to what it was s'posedmto be at. nifty with 2 peoples.

urm... got approached by a guy that works at Dunlop, seemed super nice, gave me a compliment, set of bass strings (SIXERS. HE PAID ATTENTION), and his card. i'm gonna let him know how i like the strings.
