The bass and amp are for my girlfriend for her birthday since she I am teaching her to play bass, and mine is too big for her. She wanted a Daisy Rock heart-shaped bass but I refuse to have one of those in my apartment. Now if you'll pardon me I have some corks to sniff.

Lots of good suggestions for a new guitar, so thanks everyone. Only problem is now my choice is even harder to make!
