Get your Montgomery Appliances on

WORKING CONDITION: Poor - Powers up fine, as indicated by the working LED, but no change to the signal whether engaged or not. Also, examining up close you will notice it does have a scent of burnt plastic or possibly internal components but no visual damage to any of the circuit board. Needs serviced to be playable. Overall its working condition is poor.

I mean, a fairly compact 1x12" is always gonna be less full than a head into a bigger cab, but the amps in the combos are exactly the same as the Pittbull 45 heads, though there are 3-4 different revisions and feature combinations (different reverb drivers, loop control, Class A switch, etc). They sound like an AC30 crossbred with a big Hiwatt clean plus a very unique drive channel, distinctive Fryette tightness but not as extreme as something like the Ultra Lead or Deliverance.omarwhite wrote:The Eristic wrote:OG VHT (aka Fryette) Pittbull 45 1x12" combo - $449 ($500ish with tax + shipping, still a pretty killer deal for one of the great boutique amps.)

are these as good as the heads tho? I've never tried the combo to compare but I've always read that the combo falls completely flat in comparison to the head and sounds nothing like it....
Not a bad price either
Then, once the initial hype is gone and the market is saturated in a year or so, we're gonna find them up there for less than 200.whoismarykelly wrote:Its clear from the $500 Reverb listings that Red Panda Particle V2 preorders started hitting folks' mailboxes today
