So hard to decide where to turn to for my next synth purchase. Microbrute? MS20mini? OP1? Too many awesome choices. (Also too many tiny keys... but you can't have it all)

Do what i did and buy the korg volcas first, then the microbrute feels like heaven.

 i think they're pretty different really, it's not surprising that some people only like one or the other.
at least pretty much all these new synths are available all over the place and its pretty easy to get out and demo them all.
for me, i never even slightly gassed for the arturias but i have the volca beats and think its absolutely incredible for what you pay. pretty keen to get the other two.
thinking about picking up an atomosynth mochika xl soon too.. or a pocket piano MIDI.... hurrrrrmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm not looking for heaven. Can't imagine it feeling like heaven regardless with my 88 key Rhodes sitting there in the room, too. I'm really just too scared to gig with my micromoog after it failed me at a show and am looking for one of these [more reliable?] modern dudes. So I should probably just pony up for the sub 37, ey?

The Sub 37 is cool, but is it $1500 cool? I want to get a hardware synth eventually but if I was going to drop that much cash, I'd probly go a little further and pick up a Prophet or something.

one's sync out to another's sync in makes the out control the other's tempo. can chain more after that, the first will control tempo on all of 'em.

I think the Sub37 is the going to be the coolest modern Moog. Paraphonic, decent modulation options, arp, sequencer, good amount of memory. I guess it depends on if someone wants that Moog Bass and Lead sound or not.
I do like the sound of DSI but am pretty put off by how they tend to half-ass finish the OS on their gear. Every one of their products is buggy and has some half baked implementation of some features. I recently sold my Tempest again because it can't MIDI sync with other gear…from Dave Smith…one of the dudes that invented MIDI! Fucking ridiculous… It starts a beat behind other stuff if it is slaved, if it is the Master it is just plain jittery and if you use it's roll function in either mode, a key performance tool, then you are totally fucked.
I know I just kind of ranted but for real DSI is known for shitty OS stuff and until there is solid proof that they can get their stuff working right, I am staying away.

Anyone got recommendations for a cheap yet decent mixer for my synths. Thinking like 6 inputs or something

Hey, I need some advice on getting a keyboard.

I'm playing piano for a band right now, but booking gigs at places that have one is a little limiting, so I'm going to have to look into a keyboard. I'd only need electric piano (Rhodes, Wurli, etc) or acoustic piano sounds, and hopefully spend as little as I can get away with. Anyone know of a cheap but good sounding solution?

Some kind of ROMpler and a Midi Keyboard could be nice for this situation. Roland JV1010 is cheap and is supposed to sound pretty good.

Then use whatever controller you like.

Ohh, I do have a decent controller so that would be pretty easy. I'm going to look into this JV-1010. Any other ROMplers to look out for?

Some EMU stuff may be cool. I am no expert on ROMplers but I would just scoop that Roland up.

Oh Yeah, Serge sequenced by Elektron Analog Four via Dirge Format Jumbler. Give it a minute, I ended up really enjoying the patch. I was BSing around to make something to accompany the more percussive sounds and so I present to you : Rooster Sax and the DrumLine
