This could potentially be a nightmare to use on a dark stage but damn it does look sleeeeek and sounds rad. And an analog synth with a rechargeable battery would be sweet for live use, one less plug to worry about.

BRO! You could put some killer glow in the dark stickers on the keys! That would look tight as fuck probably!

Damn you're right, put them on the flat/sharp keys... that'd really do the trick.

That thing looks and sounds sick ASF. I can't find a price though?

I need some stand alone things like this for my studio. I would totally rock the stickers too though. :)

Nub Ass.
If it's real that blue to black gradient finish is ugly af and belongs on a 1999 geocities website.
I believe that's Final Fantasy 7 Text Window Blue.

I don’t know if it’s been mentioned, but gamechanger audio changed their motor synth into a desktop thing. It looks pretty rad to me, and it sounds as gritty as I’ve always wanted a polysynth to sound. I’m curious to hear what pads sounds like on it.

Yep, it's in here (couple pages back). I haven't heard any pad-like textures in this this show's clips. ---Lots of squiggly tape machine hiccups and aggressive blips, which is unique for a synth, but not necessarily a lot of value for 1,200 - 1,500 USD/EU. Although the main guy said it'd be cheaper for people who back the crowdfunding project.

Hopefully the pared-down version can still do these brooding, scuzzy EP sounds and dying machine fadeouts.

The price is on point, the knob-heavy layout is eye-catching, but where are the wow sounds? Outside of a few Dominion clips, I've consistently been unimpressed with the sonic capabilities of MFB's synths---just so basic & stereotypical, not much character.
8 voice poly, 3 VCO, 3 ENV, 2 LFO with 47 knobs --- Price 980,-€
Also, don't expect it before 4Q 2019, if not 1Q/2Q of 2020.

Can the Composer Pro unseat Polyend's Seq as the best hardware sequencer?

https://dadamachines.com/products/composer-pro/

I'm intrigued by the touch plate, but I can't find any mention of the ability to randomize patterns, which is quite disappointing if that's not included. Without trying either, I'd probably still lean toward the Seq. :idk:

The sounds in that video are rad as hell! But yeah, if it doesn’t have any range as an instrument, then it’s definitely not worth the entry price.

If I understand the layout and features correctly, it essentially has independent pitch and amplitude envelopes per voice, as well as three filters, a sequencer, and an arpeggiator. If you can layer/detune the voices it’d be a hell of a thing to create insanely textured drones and pads with, let alone the industrial basses and leads it could create. So, hopefully there’ll be some good demos? Otherwise it really doesn’t seem worth it at this point....
