This might sound foolish, but I was using this with a OneSpot and noticed that it was very hard to plug the power supply in - it felt very tight and I really had to push to get it in there. Is anyone else having this problem and should I be concerned? I only was able to play for about 5 minutes before work, but I loved what I heard so thank you Scott! Wonderful stuff!

The jacks are a bit stiff compared to some I have used in the past I would say, but it is not a problem/issue and i would not be concerned.
enjoy!

Re: Count To Five
Mine came in earlier today. Brought it to band practice, ran a drum machine into it. Instant inspiration! Selling my v1 was a huge mistake. Can't wait to get to know the new features!
The mix knob on mine was so tight though. I had to use pretty extensive force to turn it. An easy fix, but I didn't have any tools with me. And hey, CW now adds the wet signal? Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I think the mix control on my v1 was the other way around. Anyways, rant rant rant, this makes more sense!

Mine's the opposite I think? That's weird! LOL!! I'm pretty sure you turn the mix clockwise to add wet signal. I mean, that's how mine works.
You know, I've had weird shit happen before with my B7K and the mix knob acted in reverse. Had something to do with the power supply I was using. I didn't change the supply, the problem just stopped occurring. I have no fucking clue how or why it happened either.
I played with mine more tonight. I am totally lost with it. Hahahaha. I love it, I just have no idea what I'm doing. I have read anything though and am just messing around. It's fun. I dig the crap out of the looper though. It's so freaking fun.

Re: Count To Five
After about an hour of playing my new CT5 I've got to say I love the *transcendence* mode.
Fabulous! It makes me wish I had an expression pedal. Like.right.now.
I love it. Does pretty much everything I want. Of course my dream would be a CT5 Deluxe
with all the functionality of the toggle switches controlled with stomp switches. That way
everything the CT5 does now could be completely accessible by foot control while still
playing the guitar. With that and an expression pedal everything on it could be accessed
and controlled with the feets.
Pipe dreams aside... the CT5 is like playing an instrument. Lots to learn. Lots to love.
I might post a long audio clip of my second run-through. It's just me improvising to the
settings that I stumbled across. What are the settings? I don't remember.
The resulting audio is a lot like kugel: a long noodle fully baked.

Maybe the best quote of the year so far, Seance. Don't forget the raisins.

Hi, you can adjust the knob with a small enough screw driver, sorry that it showed up this way. If the knob itslef is some reason screwed up let me know i will send you some knobs.
You are right that the mix is reversed from the very first revision, but on all other boards it has been as it is now. I wanted it like it is now but screwed up the first revision. To me turning up the mix should turn up the effect, so that's why i prefer it as it is now. sorry for the mind games.

After listening to UC's madness yesterday, I'm now seriously considering getting on the next run. Stupid sexy pedlols.

Ha! Thanks, Chank! I do indeed love noodles. And I love to noodle on the geetar.
But truth be told... I'm no fan of cooked raisins. I will always forget them if possible.
But I'm a big fan of the CT5. I was able to get some "motor bike rev" sounds.
In Mode One I achieved some octave down fonk. Some erratic tremolo. Even a sort
of tripped out vibrato-type warble.
Here is the clip of my second test run. Settings all arrived at by chance in the
moment (so I don't remember how I did any of it). At points I click on the Boss RE-20
for added layering and feedback and stereo separation. The 5:37 mark sounds like
a film soundtrack waiting to be filmed.
You are forewarned: noodle is long and slippery.

Re: Count To Five
yes there are 6 on all models since i think the firmware release 0.931.
they should be:
non quantized
semitone (1 step)
whole tone (2 step)
diminished (3 step)
augmented (4 step)
fifths and octaves.

Re: Count To Five
thanks for the info and the wonderful pedal, Scott. It's just so musical, you can play it like an instrument. it's hard to control and predict what it will do, but loosing that control and being forced to react in ways that make musical sense is a lot of fun. can't wait to bring it to the rehearsal and building a nice jam/drone/track around the ct5 with my bandmates!
i also appreciate the sound improvement (compared to the other one i had for a while). no hissing, etc., there's just a little clicking while the LED is flashing in mode 2, but that's not a real issue. i didn't try the lpf in mode 1, yet.
while switching through the six modes i even thought "hey, he put a reverb setting in there!"
really curious what's in the MAssembly pipeline for 2016!
