On a related note, I really really want one of these basses:

That's a REALLY decent price for it too. Vaccaro started after he left Kramer, took the headstock design which Gary Kramer never copyrighted and patented it.

It's a -300 in pearl green. It arrived last night and I'll be giving it a setup/chucking it through as much fuzz and reverb I've got tonight.
First unplugged impressions are: It's the comfiest guitar I've ever played, the trem feels amazing and THIS IS THE THINNEST NECK EVER! It's like a ukulele!

Nice, dude.
The trem is awesome but kind of a pain in the ass to set up with strings that yield a higher tension than most .10s, imo. The trem thing only has two holes for springs; I drilled a few holes in a strip of brass and the extra third spring really helps (using .13 flatwounds) with stability although I need to tune it a bit more.
Anyway, yeah, the trem movement is super smoooove. My hands aren't really meant for the tiny neck but the guitar is so cool it's gonna have to work out

Did yours come with the original arm? Ultra lucky if so...
By the way, if the arm breaks or whatever, you can replace it with a 5mm Strat-type one. It's not a perfect fit, but 6mm is too big and you can use a tiny allen wrench to make it fit more snugly, there's a hole on the side of the tailpiece right next to where the arm mounts.
