I'm becoming pretty obsessed with the idea of building myself a Marshall 18watt style head. I think I'm gonna sell my El Capistan and one of my delays to fund a kit

I assume you are talking about an aluminum bass?? If so, is it really bright or just more for the asthetics? I have never considered an aluminum bass before. I am just trying to understand the lure of one.

And a lot more minute details come out of it too, right? Like in between the notes, and like you can HEAR the string gauges and stuff
