played a show at our local makerspace last night, which i didn't realize existed in my city until we got offered the show.
it was really cool, they have 3D printers and lots of robotics stuff it looked like. max/msp and arduino stuff/classes. a really neat & creative environment. and we got to play music for ppl while they made halloween costumes!
an interesting night indeed...oh they also had a killer finger board/tech deck skate park, that i learned my friend/bandmate is fucking retardedly awesome at.

Had dinner with my mom last night. It was nice. We hadn't had a deep conversation in a long while until last night.
Just talked about the new job, what it involves, some specifics of it, talked through some questions about it.
The look on my friend's face when I gave him my Telecaster on Sunday was priceless.
The look on my wife's face when she saw the Baby's R Us Giftcard from Aaron @ ARC. She was stunned.
Playing a show next Tuesday, getting to meet Aen/Aenswife and Effectordie along with reuniting with old friends in DC.
Might be passing my Jaguar on to fever606 who wants to make it awesome.
Going to have a 1x10 here soon so I can cary my son in one hand and the cab in the other.
Just so much to be stoked about.
this is the kind of shit that makes actually makes me feel better when I'm having an off day - just knowing that everything's going right for somebody else makes it easier, you know? Plus you deserve all that and more man, haha.

I'M IN A BAND FUCK AGHH. One that I really really like, too. The guitarist/main writing force has been a friend for a long time and I've always wanted to play music with him in an official kind of capacity. Now I get to hold down the low end

It's been a while since I've been this excited to play a show!

In other news, I think my interviews went well. The second one was pretty casual, within half an hour they phoned me back and said they want me in for a full interview on Tuesday!

I just got a new computer, guys, and I'm fucking PUMPED.
I haven't had a new computer in 7 years and while computer (that I'm using as I type this) runs just fine I was long overdue. Very very pumped about it all.
