Didn't notice the stomach ailment bits earlier, because I'm a selfish bastard only searching for boobs. I've had stomach issues my whole life best I can tell. Check into papaya enzymes, black licorice, and apple cider vinegar. These things help my acid reflux quite greatly. Not the same as ulcers obviously, but hooray for rotted gut!

Absence - sorry to anybody that pm'd me or anything here. i've been just fucked last week. i've talked about how much i love the stuff we're doing with the Blood Party thing and how it's the most fun and exciting thing i've ever done musically. me and Paul are going to look for somebody else, so the core is still there, but conflicts have led to Syren deciding she wants out. i've been through it with bands before, just not one i cared about this much. kinda had me wrecked as hell. i liked her a lot personally as well as somebody to play music with, so it's been really fucking hard. lol. not like we had done anything big, but i'm bummed that something i thought was beautiful is either done or at least different.

me and Paul are going to be looking for a keyboardist that can sing shortly, we're debating canceling the three or four gigs we have booked now or trying to add some looped bass bits/go noiseier/go messier and do them instrumental. it was a situation where i think it would have gone bad with the 3 of us eventually, so sooner is better than later, but sucks that we just started playing out and now have to take a huge step back.

lol. i just do the gigging/writing thing for FUN. this is not FUN. fuck. gonna go wallow.

I am preparing for that same eventuality, I would say that my band won't last beyond early next summer, or if it does, it will be 3 of us looking for a new singer. Deltzy - yah. at least until we find somebody that fits, i'm leaning towards at least TRYING that. i think we could get by with some basic busy tapped loops with me noodling synth or different effected bass parts over it. that sounds fun. for a bit tho. i like SONGS.

the most depressing thing about this is musically it was EXACTLY what i wanted. the three of us wrote together perfectly. dunno if it's the best product possible objectively, but i had nothing but fun from a music standpoint.

Sorry for the band dramaz, that always sucks. On the plus side, it could end up in an improvement. We replaced our guitarist this summer, and our band is sooooooo much tighter now.

Sucks, meng. But I'm glad that you recognize the importance of having a musical core. I've been playing with the same other dude for the past twelve years now, and we've had other bandmates come and go, and changed styles up from here and back to explore new notions of what we wanted to do. It's not like we haven't WANTED other people to stick around, but after having so many exit for one reason or another (and one very awkward meeting where we had to kick another guy out - that sucked), we've just come to accept that it's pretty much "our thing," and that's o.k. If you and Paul synch up, and can weather each others highs & lows, that's what'll matter in the long run.
