So my friend has this broken farfisa organ in his studio. I don't really know what's wrong with it but I kinda want it.

It's this crazy red thing. Should I offer him like $30 for it or something or would that be stupid for a broken organ?

It's the first cool day of the season here in Texas, and all I can think is "I can finally wear the hoodie I bought in June." I know that feel.

Here it's about 40 degrees and windy and I'm thinking " man I should have bought that jacket sooner"

FARFISA ORGAN... I would pay $30 to have a broken farfisa organ. I would pay more than that actually

No, but you should maybe try to find out what's wrong with it.. and buy it from him...

IDK which I should get...a Digitech TimeBender, you know the one. Or if I should get a Boss Slicer and whatever delay that I can scoop up for around a $100 (Flashback or Hardwire DL-8). The Slicer seems FUN, but the TimeBender does a sort of Slicer thing plus the other stuff like delay, harmonized, arpegiatted and pitch shifted delay. The TimeBender would be a bit cheaper. I play bass and have synthy pedals as well as fuzz, octave, modulation, pitchfactor on my board. Any thoughts homies?

I'm hoping it's something I can easily fix. I'd really like to have a cool analog organ

He's asked me if I would put it in my studio cause they dgaf about it and don't want it taking up space (it's actually not huge it kinda folds up) but I don't just want to store it I want to keep it.

I guess I'll see if I can just have it for free. If not I'll see if I can haz for cheaps

If anything, if I get it and can't fix it, I'll give it to one of you fools for the price of shipping

From a little google searching and my memory of what it looks like I think it's a "Farfisa Combo Compact". The red one. Is this model any good?

I think it'd be hard to go wrong with any Farfisa.

Here's a link to one of my favorite combo organ websites:

Thanks for the link. If my memory isn't totally fucked its definitely a red Combo Compact.

I haven't actually heard it in action, but the guys amp was broken so I dunno it might actually work

If it doesn't work hopefully I just need to replace a tube or two. I'll try and talk to the guy today
