Every time I look at my car from the front, I'm reminded that it's so fucking stupid that it's even moderately fucked up. Fucking left turns and the god damn front end of the car rubs into the tire. It's only on sharp lefts, but it's still annoying and hard to listen to.

I fixed that by kicking the fender back into place. Well, not back into place, but out of the way. It may be hammer time, literally.

This past week was so bad that even though my girlfriend is coming back from her trip today I can't seem to get in a good mood. And it's her birthday. So I really need to.

Got no sleep last night then locked myself out of the house. Had to break in with a credit card and an hour of will power and determination.

Sitting in Kate's dorm now trying to destress. =~=

I didn't get much sleep either. My lady had a bad dream around 3am and woke up shaking and grabbed onto me, so startilingly so that it woke me up and we didn't fall back to sleep until 5. Had to get up at 6 for work.

If ever you have a bad night's sleep think of Bruce and 5 screaming balls of happiness, all at various stages of not wanting to sleep through the night. 60% of the time it works all the time to cheer me up when my son decides to invade my otherwise peaceful night's sleep. Mathematically speaking I get like 5 times as much sleep as him.

Still, doesn't make my eye hurt any less (I get a good dose of red eyes when I'm tired. Combined with computer based job = pain). Gotta push through the pain barrier for ILF-time though.

Nah, who am I kidding. Doesn't matter how much sleep you get - if you don't get enough then life hurts. Sympathies all round bros.

Yeah. That's still a good way to look at it, though.

It's more the content of the shit dreams that set the tone for my day. High school bullshit I've been emotionally working past, and when it gets dredged up it puts me in a bad mood for a while. Sometimes I end up reverting back to that for a bit, too.

I'm just trying to not be some stupid kid, and it's hard not actually being in school. I feel like I'm getting closer to my goals, but for the moment, I'm not really moving forward, just sideways a lot. Gives the illusion of movement without really doing a terrible lot.

But, I have an interview tomorrow, so hopefully it'll go well.

I'm just going to spend the day today trying to not die of stress, and figure out some kind of workout routine i can do without going to a gym. I know I have strong moldings in my house, so maybe I can use them for hanging crunches and pull ups and whatnot.

Sometimes ya go forwards, sometimes sideways. Unless you're one of these super focused career dudes that's bound to happen. I think I'm going forward at the moment, but I'm not really sure. I'm evaluating my momentum haha.

You just finished uni yeah? I remember reading it... god damn you memory... But in any case, it's pretty normal that sideways/forwards/wtf feeling. I mean, you've got an awful lot of flexibility in uni, but at the same time you've got a fairly decent structure and you don't have to think about a lot - most of the supposedly "important" decisions can be put off for a while. But there are a lot of expectations put on people once they graduate, and I guess if you've got a loan and shit you've got a bunch of expectations on yourself. It's tough trying to get all that together.

Interview tomorrow will be rad.

As soon as you get in the room imagine that they are ILFers. :D
