As a follow up to my earlier post on my happiness with my tone:

Had a gig this weekend, was almost orgasmic over how my rig sounded. Had several peeps compliment me on it afterwards. And two guys who are regulars at our gigs were asking me all about the Ric. I've never seen so much interest from the audience in my basses or rig before. Good shit.

Well, Ric basses are pretty unique looking, and even non-musicians have probably seen famous people playing them before (Geddy, McCartney, Cliff Burton, etc). And then when you hear how unique they sound, it must stick out to people. Even if they have no real idea what it is.

PitchFactor partial trade is a no go. I am trying to evaluate if I should keep the MarkBass SuperSynth. I am getting some good sounds out of the Behringer BSY-600 (pretty Awesome pedal, I have it in a true bypass loop pedal that JWAR made me), run that through the ModFactor and I get some good synth sounds, into the TimeLine it gets trippy. I guess I need to run them head-to-head and see if there is something in the MBSS that I can't live without. If I have what I want covered without the MBSS, I'll sell it and the DelayLab for the PitchFactor. The PitchFactor I know does synthy stuff, gets kind of Organish, all the cool pitch stuff. It would be a good pedal for building a complex sounds with. I had a PitchFactor before but I think I expected something more/different from it. Having learned the basics of the ModFactor I think I'll be able to get a little bit more out of the PitchFactor. Plus some sort of "base" synth sound through the PF should be dope.
Man, a pretty big local band broke up a few months ago, we played with them several times at different venues. They have requested us to be on the bill with them a fewtimes, they were really good. Well, 2 of the guys are starting a new project and asked me to join. They sent me some demos of the material. Really good, unique stuff. I am jut too busy, sucks, but at least they thought of me, I thought that was a nice compliment.
Fuck, I may have an ulcer starting. I went to a doctor on Wed. I am taking some meds. I am also starting a really restricted diet because of it too. Pretty much if I love it, I can't eat it, or at least how I like to cook it. Hopefully in a month I'll be back to normal. Stomach pain blows.

I would put that thing up against any $300 OD. So good. So cheap. A freaking tank.

Uggg, I've had similar issues too, mostly started from stress then indigestion. Totally blows when you can't eat or cook the good stuff.
