Isn't his name Ben?
Or is it Aen?
Is he a superhero (likely) ?

Is the super wizard really that noisey? All I could focus on was the hiss.

Dude, that noise is nothing (compared to the regular version). It honestly doesn't bother me, if you can't stand hiss like that then I don't know how you enjoy music. That being said, I will send my regular Wizard in for repair/de-hissifying soon, but I already have a delay after it in my chain so don't need to buy this one, cool as it is.

Hm, listened earlier through laptop speakers and didn't notice the hiss... with phones, a lot more noticeable. Kinda agree with Frodog though... to me it fits right in with the wash.
Also FWIW, the hiss is a lot less noticeable on Aen's demo

That hiss would make it a nightmare before phaser and such. I like the idea of the pedal but why so LOUD?

I think the WAY it's integrated with the delay is Special and the options available.. definitely not the same as running a delay after it. I'm in.

You should have heard the first batch of WoP.

Ya, or the Goodbye 24 for that matter. Doesn't really matter to me, and I didn't notice it in this demo. Most of the pedals I use are noisy to some degree anyway, but most of the time I'm playing, so... yeah.

I used to hate noise when pedals were engaged but now if it's not making some kind of clicking sound or leaving some kind of artifacts in the trail of white noise I'm like "is this thing broken?"

I think it's important to understand that there is no manual available for creating sample based pitch shifters with parts available to normal people. Nor is there a tutaorial for making 8 bit sequenced pitch shifters, or adapting high voltage synthesizer circuits into pedals. We don't have the advantage (yet) of putting laptop parts in our pedals to process things at the speed of light. So we're doing the best we can here with almost no map to refer to.
Also, in this Knobs video the delay times are pretty long, which is going to make a shit ton of noise, considering the delay time available is at least double what the chip inside can handle without turning into a noise instrument.

The noise is just another sound you can make!
