JezusHChrist Nick. Hulking it out.
I just watched your 300# front squat too.
Wish my gym wasn't so fu fu. I'd get the serious stink eye if I dropped any weights.
I bonked hard on DLs today. Long weekend of over indulgence of every kind and there was no way 350# was going to happen. Next time....
Started doing pull ups on those climbing wall/grip things. #ninjawarrior

My bench has been doing down and I have no idea why. It's always been weak compared to my other lifts but this is really starting to make me scratch my head.

Over training?

I'm experiencing similar things. I need a solid few days off.

If CT Fletcher were here he'd call you a muthafucker for saying that.
I'm not so sure over training is a thing, but I know we need breaks and rest.
Just watched a video of a man lose 400lbs, become a minor celebrity as a result and then put 250lbs back on and become dangerously overweight once more. Apparently people started attacking him verbally because he somehow failed them as an example of how much weight one can lose and how handsome and happy one can become if one puts the hard work in. Pieces of shit don't realise there is a psychology behind weight gain and overeating. I noticed this was discussed in the Doom Room, but I didn't want to get involved because I had very strong opposing views.
If you don't understand the psychology behind overeating, weight gain and weight loss, good luck being successful. If you're not happy, the chances are you'll fail.

CT Fletcher is also taking massive steroids/HGH/ect so all the normal rules about training do not apply. They can get away with massive amounts of training load/volume/intensity due to the drug use.

^^^That.
Over training is definitely a thing. It doesn't even have to be a "chronic" thing or a "condition." If you're working your muscles a LOT, and not giving enough time to recover, then you're just going to tear them down further. Athletes who train frequently (like gymnasts) accomplish it by not ever training to failure, in fact, keeping the volume of a given exercise low enough to be able to effectively do it again in just a day or two. I'm fairly certain the same kind of technique applies to pure strength training ( not body building). -two cents-

Squat cleans are a bitch BTW. 5x5 at only 135# on Thursday and my traps are killing me.

That conversation was....not without its opinions unfounded in facts.
I avoided it for that reason.

I've been been on SL 5x5 for a few months now and my working sets are 135 Bench, 85 OHP, 110 Row, 185 squat, 225 DL. Not bad for the short time imo… OHP has stalled a couple times due to bad form…
So does anybody have recommendations to 1.25lb plates that aren't crazy expensive?

CT Fletcher quite adamantly claims he does not take drugs, and never did, but instead, in order to re-cooperate from his workouts ate copious amounts of highly destructive food for twenty years. I don't trust the guy at all, but it would make sense for someone to be stupid enough to believe that being natural does not include eating McDonalds four times a day. If, theoretically—and I don't know the nutritional science behind it—CT did replace drugs with Big Macs, he's probably done far more damage to himself than drugs ever would if taken in a controlled manner. But then again, he could be bullshitting. His 'diet' could have been his way to trick people into believing he never needed drugs since he was such a beast (read: fuckwit) and ate burgers instead, since that's when real men do.

Good day, gentlemen.
Back squat 1RM 285#
Dead lift 1RM 350#
Can't seem to break 125# OHP.

Went for a long MTB ride yesterday...tired legs. Attempted 285# back squat today and crumpled like a bitch. Fucking embarrassing. 5 rep'd 320# on the DLs though.
Hey Nick.....
CONGRATS ON THE WEDDING!
