A big F*#k U for your concern to my works I.T d!ck for his helpful ''this will be good for your guitar pedals'' power supply. BZZZT!! Fried my new boutique overdrive pedal (hopefully just the protection diode)
No Mr Ming, you can't run guitar pedals on a power supply, that I found out today, is made FOR A F*#KING FAX MACHINE. 9volts, yep, DC output, yep, WRONG polarity/positive tip, FAAAARK!
Disclaimer: Ming is a nice guy who means well but apparantly you can't power a guitar pedal on good intentions either.

I have a friend that repairs them
most local computer shops have a guy or two trained to do that that have specific tools for it
