Looks like the FEA stuff on TB already sold. I'll keep my eyes peeled though.

it was fun. some annoying personal stuff that kinda tainted some of the days but i got to see a lot of friends and fam i don't see nearly enough. lotsa good stuff.

So I totally still feel the urge to play with pedals. Figure I can buy them at bargain prices...fnd their sound in the software....and then flip them and only lose shipping.

Might start with a Rusty Box.....and a Rat.....what's the best Rat for bass to try? A vintage 80's one? And I do have a loop pedal to add clean blend to it.

I had an original early 80s Rat that I sold last year, I had owned it for a long time. I thought it sucked on bass. But, I wasn't using it with a powerful rig. So that might make a difference...IDK.

But I already got a Turbo Rat.

Hahaha. I'm sure they're quite similar. The TR I found has the LM-308 chip and has been modded. There's a Rusty Box going on TB for a bit more than it should....so I offered a slightly less bid on it.

huh. i've had like 3 or 4 different rats 'cause you're S'POSED to love them, but i never clicked with 'em. Rat Tail was cool, i just didna like it.

lulz. bass player in the other band used my rig tonight, his Morley Wah, ODB3 i think? something else Boss. but those into Rusty -> power amp -> Aggie GS212. he's a nice guy, i've met him before (he plays in my singer's cover band), and i've only heard him play 90's cover songs, but you can tell he's GOOD. lol. way better bass player than me.

after thanking me for letting him use my rig (nice. GUY.), i was telling him he sounded good, how it's always fun for me to hear somebody good play my rig (i can't hear it for realz when i'm playing it), he said thanks, then....

"i don't want to be rude, but i like a less dirty tone."

"yah. that pream gets pretty wooly when you dig in. but i don't really ever play totally clean."

"yeah. we're like.... totally opposite. what i love about bass is that it sounds good no pedals, just the bass, no pedals, eq it on the bass."
