Yesss. Sure you'll love it, it's an awesome pedal! Gnarly as fuck and note clarity at the same time.

I ordered the Ampeg 1x12 speaker cab that matches my new Ampeg head, because there's a $75 rebate until tomorrow, and that makes it way cheaper than even the Avatar stuff.

Comes loaded with a Celestion Vintage 30. Should be here next week.

Well, this guy showed up today:

Image

At first I was a little hesitant because it's a Muff, and in my stubborn little eyes and all my experimentation nothing quite has what my Sovtek does. But then I started actually experimenting with my FX chain, and with the settings in general and I dig. I DIG HARD. I usually keep it in tone bypass so it cuts a little more and acts more raw like a distortion. But I've got the settings with the tone rolled all the way back (low pass'd) for when the tone bypass isn't on, so I can loop a bass tone with the bypass off, then click the bypass on for guitar stuff. It's all stuff that I've done before in muffs, just not executed this awesomely.

Achtane wrote:Aw man, looks nice. What's the delay time like?

Lately...it feels like all my wacky sounds just up and left. I dig my pedalboard, but there's too much dirt and not enough "wat". Phaser lasers and a delay just isn't...isn't...

Wait, I have a devious plan for my cassette deck once a power cable arrives though.

The delay time isn't bad, definitely more of a slapback type thing. Cool though because thats really all I plan on using it for, and messing with the playback stuff.

All you guys and your fancy loopin' pedals...
I've got somethin' good going on now. Don't know where to post this stupid thing

Hell yeah.
Found this jawn in the garage and recently got power and RCA-to-1/4 cables for it. Plus, tonight I added a toggle on the back that bypasses the "erase" head, so you can record shit on top of shit, as opposed to it clearing while recording. Then when the tape gets saturated or you're bored, switch it back to normal mode and erase/redo.
I think that if I make a copy of the looped tape and play that while recording new layers onto the other one, so I can hear what's going on, it'll be...you know, kinda like the most labor-intensive looper.
Gonna mess around with little 6-second tape loops and such too. But I have a way better mod planned...just not for 1:30 AM.
