I really can't listen to Hot Tuna's first album or QOTSA's Rated R while I'm still a new non-smoker.

And I fucking love those records. :picard:

how have rich people
not figured out how important free is
especiallybwhen it comes to internet stalking
do you think they dont realize
theyve just destroyed their product
people stopped usin myspace
because it was OWNED by fox, right
they didnt even start charging anything

i will not ever have a tw**ter account
this i vow
the same as the first time
i heard a man was updating his twi**er
it makes me uncomfortable
the word
"i have twee*ed away my penis,
for a high quality twi**ered vagina"

to get some strings for show tomorrow
you probly know where this is goin
ive caught this guy buyin shit of cl
and jackin the price in his store
not just for profit like any bizniss should
but buyin crap and tryin to fool people
ill condense this story
cause weve all been there, seen that
hes got a les paul epiphone prophecy
it looks real nice as they do
but thats the point
they look slick
and there not gibsons
hes got it marked for $995
so my choices are
buy shit from this skunk
and support his big chested employee habit
take the ride to albany
where at least the stores have decent stuff
sit on my ass at home
and get shit cheap on the internet
i hate to think someone will buy that someday
whew i feel better thanks

Why do people get angry when you deduce their reasons for thinking a thing when they didn't really know why themselves previously?

It depends on the manner in which you do it. Maybe they feel like yr trivializing whatever jank they've got going on.
Maybe they misinterpret it as being condescended to.
Maybe they're being dumb :idk:
It's kinda like how some people can't take constructive criticism.

Probably this. When I'm analyzing something I become entirely impersonal. Everything is just information and concepts. To me, I would think that that would make it not insulting or anything at all to a person. For some reason though I feel like people get more insulted because of it. I don't understand why.

Most people, especially in a work environment, are stupid.

Seriously. They work inefficiently, they get emotionally invested in dumb ideas just because, they create an identity about themselves and their job despite not really wanting to be there or not wanting to do it, they are scared of change....

Even otherwise nice, well adjusted intelligent people get like this. Makes you stick out like a sore thumb when you are not like this yourself.

I'm going with cognitive dissonance. Unless someone is already open to the idea that they could have been or are wrong about something, they're going to get upset because you're basically challenging their identity.

The final bill for my kidney stone surgery arrived today. $7800 after insurance paid their part. I've already paid $2500 over this ordeal and met my deductible, my max out of pocket is supposed to be $3500. I don't know what I'm going to do. I can't possibly afford this.
