Sometimes it's a bunch of noisy swells (but not white noise, so it's more interesting) that wash away the songs that I've just heard all night for the millionth time.
Sometimes it's an oscillating tone that changes pitch at random while evangelists shout stuff in the background.
Sometimes it's mariachi music, but distorted so that the bass and percussion has some serious low-end boost and fuzzy oomph.
Sometimes it's a radio show from Chicago that's pretty much two chill guys playing movie clips and discussing them in a stream-of-consciousness style.
got any field recordings?
Yeah, I'll record it next time something interesting happens. There wasn't anything cool today.
Wish I had a better recording device than my phone's mic, but

AM650 had awesome tremolo and noise.

Back when radio here was analog, did you ever listen to classic FM slightly out of tune on the dial? It was a bit like that.

Nah I missed out on that unfortuantely. My dad was the only one that listened to AM radios and it was pretty much just for the footy or occasionally the golden oldies station.

Bought a Voodoo Lab 4X4 today and I'm picking up a PT-2 from the post office later. The days of unwanted high frequency noise and carrying my pedals in plastic bags are over.
Also ordered a Lollar Regal (wide range) bucker and a Special T bridge PU for my TC'72. And awaiting five pedals!

Just joined a new band that I really like. Now I found out I have a meeting with some producers that are thinking of putting me in their movie.
Life just got really good really fast.
