Nope, there's one JHS. And I wouldn't buy anything from him.

I've seen the price, and I'd rather not think about it.

yah. the Bass DI always seemed like it was aimed at the pants sniffing TGP lawyer crowd. loads of expensive sechsy options, no balls or flavor.

or Flavor Of Balls. which i am LISTENING.

Exactly. To me it's basically an EQ and a bunch of switching functions that I can build for 50€ (and I won't need most of them)... for 450€. And it's completely functional, no fun at all.

That Lehle doesn't get me hard. Okay, it has a boost but where is the Gain MoFo??
I am sure it is a quality product, a bit overpriced and not my cup 'o tea.

Looks interesting,...if you are needing a device to record direct to board,...or you are touring on venue provided backlines, but there are tons of products at better price points that do these things.

Can't speak for all of us, but I think you'll find most of us bassists here on ILF are rolling with our own amps and leave the EQing to our basses and amplifiers,...or are using less expensive products to do our tone shaping; IE Rusty Box, etc.

All the Lehle stuff I've looked at is pricey,...but well sorted. Not enough that I'd part with the cash though.

Lately; I've been quite satisfied with the sound I get from my bass; with fresh strings at an appropriate gauge for being dropped down a whole step; through my pedalboard and into my SVT-CL. It's everything I had heard a Thumb Bass sound like but could never achieve myself, until now.

In other news,...I'm thinking hard on downsizing my pedalboard. Just too much stuff that isn't getting used. And I'm gassing hard for a Mexi-Strat that is hanging up at GC. I know this isn't guitar talk thread,...and there is nothing to get too excited about over a Mexi-Strat,....but there is just something about this guitar. Looks like it's an oldish model. The pickgaurd is yellowed as are the pup covers. It's got a maple fingerboard with all kinds of crud in the frets,...and it sounds really good. I'm looking for something I can dink around on in standard tuning (my Tele Deluxe is tuned to drop B but about to be restrung for D standard which is what Mecha Shiva tunes in).

madmax1012 wrote:i completely forgot that you ended up buying that time factor! so if that didn't work out, and the timeline is gone, what have you ended up with for looping? I'm pretty envious of that echoczar. Tap tempo would have been cool, but as far as I know the only analog tap tempo delays out there are the Diamond Memory Lane, which has half the delay time of the tone czar, and then the JHS Panther, which I personally would refuse to buy due to my own moral standards.

EHX Deluxe Memory Boy. Full analog, tap tempo with subdivisions, fx loop, exp control of 4 different params ... for under 2 bills. It's fucking awesome, and gets no respect because everyone loves to hate EHX.

It's not like we want to hate them or anything.
