Probably the douche nozzles at TGP.

Brand new - black box echo is $725, polished is $875

Angelbaby - black box $285, polished $385

FUCK the 4+ year wait. I got a good deal since mine was a partial trade/cash thingy. The dude wasn't greedy at all, just wanted what he paid for it new.

Black! Not a fan of the chrome at all, worse yet when it costs an extra $250.

Did you get an Angelbaby with yours?

If I had the cash, I'd get it. Way too much for me though. One day maybe.

Yes sir. Gots ta have the angelbabe :)

I agree, I prefer the black. It just looks....BADASS. Chrome is nice, but I've had a few pedz like that before (red witch) and they actually are incredibly fucking hard to look at under stage lighting. Reflect EVVRRRRYTHING.

You've had it long enough to get past the initial butterfly stage, how you liking it?

I actually like it more than I did the day I got it.

I'm not one BY ANY MEANS to be a fanboy of anything (ssspecially the go-to targets of TGP) but this delay is really something that keeps me not wanting to stop playing.

I never believed what others said about it.... UNTIL I had one for myself. It really is something special.

I'm not even gonna put on my "BOOO HYPED PEDALS" persona. congrats on it. they really do look incredible, regardless of the price. but the question is, is it the delay to rule all other delays?

For the tone and features it boasts, YES.

I've struggled myself with delays. For bass, digital was always what I preferred for pristine crystal-clear repeats. For geet, I never had a lot of time to mess around with analog to fully appreciate them.
I realized that I'm not a bells and whistles guy for delay. The Timeline and Timefactor are fantastic for what they are/do but I would never have a use for all of the features. That's why I sold my Timeline. I still have my Timefactor, but only fucked around with it a handful of times.

The simple fact that the echo (and all toneczar) runs on 18V gives me the headroom I need for my stupidly high output basses and active geets. 2 delay times and the safety/feedback is just heavenly. There's no other way to describe it. Being analog, you don't have tap tempo but using the expression pedal is pretty much the same thing. You can mess around with the exp pedal for delay 1, but always switch back to delay 2 which stays constant (unless you kick or move the knob)

You add the angelbaby on top of that and you literally have weeks you can spend fully grasping everything it's capable of.

I'll also add, that I've never seen another pedal that was built in the unique and obsessively meticulous way as the echo (or any of my Toneczar)

The guts are really something to see in person.

i completely forgot that you ended up buying that time factor! so if that didn't work out, and the timeline is gone, what have you ended up with for looping? I'm pretty envious of that echoczar. Tap tempo would have been cool, but as far as I know the only analog tap tempo delays out there are the Diamond Memory Lane, which has half the delay time of the tone czar, and then the JHS Panther, which I personally would refuse to buy due to my own moral standards.

You're not helping ...

Aren't there two JHS's... That $500 Panther I think is from the Good one... :idk:

I just think JHS as a company has a pretty shady history. Enough that I'd never buy a $500 pedal from them.

I thought it was two different things... Some goopers and another guy making nice stuff... Separate entities...
