Wouldn't it mean that Cream is shite too since he was in a band called "the Bluesbreakers" before that? :idk:

Blues is the musical equivalent of Phoenix or Florida.. you get old, you move somewhere comfortable.

Controversy pt 2: Ginger Baker was the only redeeming feature of Cream. Cream were a bit on the shite side.

Jack Bruce is the wild card, for sure. I read an interview with him once where he described Cream as a group formed by him and Ginger to trick Clapton into joining a jazz trio, so he deserves props for that.

The documentary on Ginger is completely worth a watch even though he is objectively a terrible person. When asked about John Bonham's abilities he replied "Swing? He couldn't swing a bag of shit."

 the guys I know that actually play traditional blues treat Clapton somewhere between a joke and a bad word. His Robert Johnson album seemed to really offend them...

But you're not allowed to question the mighty Zep, the prowess of any member at any instrument can never be ranked lower than godlike! And you're certainly not allowed to mention that whole "Jimmy Page kidnapped a 14 year old girl" thing. Mudsharks are fine though.
