Cool short doc about some folks in my local DIY scene finding new spaces to put on shows. (Full disclosure, mostly peeps, plus my band played in the living room featured in this.)

Whoa, this is fucking awesome! I mean I knew Toronto had a DIY scene, but it's really cool to see it presented here. I need to make it out to some of these events!

This is already a bit of a time capsule, as the original "Somewhere Else" living room venue is done, and Owl's Club is having some issues.
But there's lots of stuff! With all the venues that closed down, there's lots of people being creative... there's tonnes of stuff that I barely know about that "the kids" are doing, like Art of the Uncarved Block. Plus punk/hardcore scenes, hip-hop scenes, etc. etc.
If anyone knows/remembers the gaming site ScrewAttack, I was a mod on there for a few years.
Earlier today I received an email from a major gaming journalism site asking me about Jared "ProJared" Knabenbauer. At ScrewAttack's gaming convention thing there were a few photos I was tagged in on Facebook where the two of us were together. Mind you this was 8-10 years ago, so A. I didn't remember much about the guy, B. I hadn't kept in touch with him or anyone on the site aside from Corey, and C. I had no idea why a reporter was asking me about that goofy looking dude.
God. Fucking. Damn.

Christ I wish I had some info on this guy to help bring him down.
