Thanks for doing the leg work, jrmy.

Might be a musicpcb board it's built on?

Maybe mine does get that crunchy with the bias cranked? I'll have to give it another play.

It is based on this circuit board - http://musicpcb.com/product/gristleizer/
here's a photo. it starts to get dirty around 2 o'clock.

Hey, UG, what fuzz are you using in this demo?
No fuzz, just turning up the bias on the unit.
You know, I think this is the first time I've actually heard one of these things by itself. Very Rad.

I'm so happy to finally have one :omg: It's so versatile with great chord and single note tones.

Thanks, UG, I realized I don't usually have my volume on the pedal turned up as loud as you do in the demo. I forgot how loud that pedal is. I usually play it with fuzz. So, I keep the volume somewhere around noon. Mine's build from a musicpcb board as well.

yeah, i go for the extremes in my videos cause the subtleties tend to get glossed over by the lo-fi iphone nature. i'm loving this pedal, really wanted one forever and was holding out for an endangered audio research unit.....it does play nice with the fuzz too which is a great thing :thumb:

Yeah, I've wondered the difference between this version and the EA version.

dolla bills
I do like their rugged enclosures, but the markup from their diy kit to build is...large.

Hey hey, Oh Boy....here are the Glass Hero Fuzz Stack and Sound Claw..awesome clones of Death by Audio Armageddon and Sound Saw...with a Moog Rogue bass synth. I was really surprised by the affect of the Sub toggle switch on the Fuzz Stack, pretty awesome and not something I was able to capture with my guitar demos of the pedal.
