TODAY I ACHIEVED TOTAL BASS DOMINATION.
Traded a few of my wares to our newest dealer for a FUCKING AMPEG CLASSIC 8X10. This will probably be my bass AND guitar amp live. Much better mids/highs than my 15 cabs.

I started to learn a little about the ModFactor today...DEEP.
I really like it way more than I thought I would.

NMFBD!!!!Holy fucking shit, this thing sounds just like I thought it would. If only this guy hadn't put flats on it. I'll have to get a decent set of rounds to throw on this bad boy for tomorrow night's gig, and then I'll get a proper set of circle k's next week.

That's how the old 4001s look when you take off the pickup cover, which is fine with me because I would have removed it anyway. You can get a black bezel to cover up the holes, but it's not too big of a deal to me.
I threw the serial number in one of those lookup databases, apparently this bad boy is from '76. And it's got a good amount of digs and chips, which is perfect; I always prefer my gear to be a little beat up.

Just switched my 4-string circle k set from my Jag to the Ric. FUCKBALLS this thing sounds angry now.
