THEE Hombrero - cha. welllll... i play bass, and i dig larger setups like that. the half circle thing is so pimp, but isn't that a bitch to setup live? i'm such a puss i just want to plug in things for my bass, in, out and power.
BUT I AM A PRISSY LAZY BASTARD.
Generally it's OK. I do the setup and packdown a couple of times a week (for practice, and then when I get back home) so I've got it pretty much down. Can do the whole setup in under two minutes
But I do get pangs of jealousy when I see how much quicker it is with a pedalboard.
My bass setup as about as bad. Less pedals but there's a tape echo in that chain which I'm still finetuning the setup for.
Used it live about 3 times now though, it's awesome, makes the whole thing sound huge with that warm tape vibe.

Re the Freeze vs Cathedral, I'm in bands with folk that have both of those. The Freeze is a great pedal, I love it. But I reckon if you can spring for the Cathedral, it's so worth it. That pedal is mean as fuck. HUGE sounds and the infinite hold on that is great too.
Freeze IS very affordable though.

'cause fuck EHX. fuck them like you just got out of prison.
..... i have a Freeze. it's a cool pedal that has fucked up on me numerous times. i would REALLY dig a good company making a version of it.

hmm. i had a big muff before which i recently sold (don't regret)it was OKAY. but my freeze has worked perfectly since i bought it (used)and seems to be some sort of exception to that rule. also, you can't fuck with vintage deluxe memory mans.
otherwise i agree.

On the freeze v cathedral thing i would say get the freeze. I had a cathedral and sold it cos the freeze came out, more useful being able to hold any sound rather than just verb trails plus i found some of the modes on the cathedral to be a bit lackluster. Everything else i have tried by EHX has been excellent tho so i wouldnt listen to the hate.

ok, after two month of a kind of revision of my analog pattern robots board i have it back running

. Today the second rehearsal with it and it works pretty good like this, some things are just

. Lot of fun so far.
In the next weeks i will add three pedals, that will be voltage controled by the laptop, on a separate board to the bass side. But the main sounds are coming out of this.

That's more than awesome.
What is the yellow Mellowtone pedal?
Edit Wolf CPU.
Still doing some change on mine. Hope I'll find the right things soon.
