Alright, thanks guys. I've had a bad experience with Mighty Mite as well, so probably won't go that route. Might just save up for a custom build if I start playing bass more frequently.

I got a new bass last week, my first 5-string in several years. Fun Fact(s): I hate face dots AND I think sonic blue is the worst finish for instruments ever. But, we've had this extra body for years and just happened to have an extra neck... so yay, I'm back into the B-strang thang.

3) I broke my nordstrand keychain trying to open a bottle with it and it cut my hand hard.

Brothers from diff mothers dude.... can't stand that blue, hate dots (especially on maple FB's which I loathe) and just got my first 5'er today which I haven't had in years.

I used to not dig maple boards, but now I have 4 basses with them. The Nordies are one piece maple necks though, to me that makes a big difference from a glued on board. I loooooove my maple fretless board on the Bordwell, although the Dingwall I kinda wished I would have gone for alder/wenge instead of ash/maple. I adore that bass, but I'm not sure it's "me" just yet.

Sonic Blue has grown on me quickly. With the black hardware I dig the looks of this one, but I very rarely like solid finishes at all, let alone bright pastels. But hey, she has a great personality, so I can dig it.

Holy crap behndy those Carl Thompson photos RAWK. I've never played one or even seen one in person up close, but I mean come on, I started fucking bass because of Claypool playing the Rainbow thang, so I have to always give them some love.
EDIT: Holy shit I think this is my Bass Anniversary Week, which now makes it 20 years of thumping about. I'm getting OLD, but I still act like an idiot, so
for that.
