Got unspecific acoustic guitar GAS so I can play it with my OP-1 as a drum+bass machine.

If you have the chance to play a yamaha FS730/735, give it a shot. I love the sound and feel of mine and it's not very expensive.

Basically it's just an all-around better bridge for Jazzmasters and Jaguars. They have notoriously bad bridges (buzzing, strings popping out of the saddles) and the Mastery remedies everything.
Nels Cline is a fan, so they must be good right?
And that's like 1% sarcasm and 99% kind of true...

Hovering around a 60s SG Junior that would be fine except (1) it's been refinished in fugly metallic (not Pelham) blue and (2) ... well, just look at it.
The fucking 1980s left a lot of good guitars badly scarred.

I figure fill in the swimming pool and put a Vibrola or a Bigsby on it to cover the mess, which kinda takes away from the beauty and simplicity of a Jr

Apparently he's out of 'raw' finish ones as he contacted me today, but I'm getting a chromed one which is fine with me!
