...... shrines are private. do you know how HARD it was for me to get enough hair from him to make my Luthier Real Doll complete?

Hopefully it was hair from his 'stache.

Just thought you dudes might want to see Tobias finally do a fucking GREAT setup video, especially if you have the Feiten tuning system.

Crappy cell pic!
My new Dinger! IndigoBurst (custom color, changes from blue to purple in sunlight), Alder body, maple neck, wenge fretboard. My first passive bass in a long time. Lots of solid tones with the different pickup selection options (parallel/series, single or both) . The neck pickup is a Dingwall P pickup, pushes those mids like I like, I also have the original pickup too.If I want active I'll put a John East P Retro in it, so I can easily do active/passive and have that passive tone control still. I will definitely wait a bit before deciding anything though, especially since I have an EQ pedal on my board now.
This bass plays so smoothly. It's the workhouse now. I ordered a Mono Vertigo for it. Gotta protect my baby.

What's the B-string tension like?

I have a SBMM Ray 35 at the house too (about to list it). A solid 5er for the price. The Dingwall makes it seem so sloppy and loose. I have had 2 other 5 strings besides the Ray35 and the 2 Dingwalls, they were a Warwick Corvette Std. and a Squier Jazz Deluxe V. The Warwick was a long time ago, it was pretty nice, the Squier is amazing for the price. So, just giving you my 5 string history, of course I have played others here and there too. On the Dingwall, because of the increased tension, it is another string and you can just dig in, it is very clear and audible, not just felt.

Thanks!
Dude, I have to sell a few pedals, one I can return to Prymaxe. I finally have settled my dirt situation I think, B3K and Iron Ether QF2 (it is called a multi band distortion maybe it starts at distortion, but it is a FUZZ...QF, Quadra Fuzz, get it?). SO I probably will return the EarthBound Audio v3 SuperCollider (I guess I am just not a muffer). Yo, Anybody interested in an AMT Bass Crunch preamp pedal, get at me for a nice price on one for a homie. It is a real deal preamp and doesn't want to be run like a pedal. It has a series/parallel EFX loop, 2 channels, mad knobs for tone shaping, and nice crunchy gain. I am deciding if I am going to try and keep my Wounded Paw v3 Parallel Blender...

I have to say that I love a high-tension B as well, but instead of going for a longer scale, I got a really high gauge balanced-tension set of strings from Circle K. I friggin love it, I never want to go away from balanced tension again.

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo...I sold over 900 bucks worth of shit and still have enough to justify the PT-Pro!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! LOL! I decided to keep the rest of my effects. Good GOD does the Spector just kill! IT FUCKING KILLS! Has so many tonal options with passive/active mode. I love the ease of the neck as well. Plays like a dream. Like a Fender, which plays like a dream. Heh.

Also, coming soon because I flipped like a mad man is Delta's Dingwall Combustion!!! WOOOOOOOOOOT! Now I'll have two really good basses and two shit basses that still sound good. So excited!!!!!

Talkbass really came through for me on these sales and some of you homies as well. I love both. I love talkbass. Seriously. I hate the bass elitist shit, but the rest rules.

So, question cause I've wondered about this and never played one before- fanned frets, does that just make your lows extra low? Sorry for the noobz :(

The notes are the same - it's just that each string is at a different scale length! :thumb:
