On another note, how worth it is it to go into minor credit card debt (like $300 or so) to buy stuff that might or might not lead me somewhere more productive in life? Do I take the gamble and be poor for a month or so?

Is it something that can't wait until you save up the money? Carrying a credit card balance is kinda scary, something major could come up and cause a pretty fast downhill slide.

Technically it could wait, but it's something I keep putting off because I suck at saving money. Also I need to get the ball rolling sooner than later.

I somehow managed to marathon season one of the show '24'. Should I keep going?

I heard that it gets kind of bullshit by the later seasons.
