i had a kontrol 49 at one point, no offense but i was baffled by how they had such a cheap shitty build in comparison to the microkontrol. tsk tsk korg. but then you turned around and made a bunch of badass lil' analog, so thanks for making up for it.

lol. yeah. that's just the 49 key controller i had banging around. see all the missing knobs and shtuff? gonna grab a new one soon. was looking at the Novation one made for Live? was going to try using that as a host for the 3 NI soft synths i'm using right now.

only controllers i've hung onto are microkontrol, launchpad & maschine. & i've done jack shit w/ learning to use the maschine...

lol. dood. we are TWINSIES. i love the Maschine library and use it all the time. i barely know the hardware. DURP.
yah. i need a midi keyboard though. i suck at keys, so 49 is kinda overkill. but trying to learn some.

Here is what I was jamming with today:
Dudes Maschine is SOOOO EASY to use. Spend about 20 minutes with the manual and then start banging pads and recording. Have the manual ready when you first want to learn how to chop and sample. boom done.

add the things being monophonic and I can almost sound like I can play

After I get some bills paid, buy a new Mac and pay it off, I'm most likely going to dive into Serge. Going to take a while though I miss having a modular system, but there is no way in hell, I'm going back to Eurocrack And Buchla is wayyyy overpriced IMHO!-
