They'll make whatever neck you're after I think. Someone here (dase maybe?) posted awhile back in this thread about one he got for a Jazzy, think it was around $700 iirc.

I was told the body was curing and would be done in 2 weeks on September 16th and on 8/31 that the necks were being fitted. At least now there's a pic of the body. Maybe it'll actually get here before the end of the year unless Buzz, Dave Grohl or some dude that did an overdubbing session for Spandau Ballet in 1983 big time me out of the way.

Oh my god that's going to be awesome!
I should really attempt to get them to build my 12 concept again. Maybe if I send in live footage they will take me seriously this time.

I hope it plays and obviously sounds well. 12-string baritones aren't exactly common so I'm worried about things like intonation (no real bridges made for it) and string spacing issues. Plus, few instruments sound worse than an out of tune 12. Plus 12's and VI can have hot signals, combining the two might be chaos. I almost wonder if I should have gone with my fretless idea for the second neck.

Not to mention you probably have a limited string set selection, if you even have any. Your probably going to need to piecemeal a set together.

LaBella may be one of the least expensive custom string options out there. I love 'em for my Bass VI, huge variety of gauges, 7-10 day turnaround.
