There are many worse things than having to move back in with the 'rents.

Definitely. I had to do that back in August. Not my favorite thing ever, but, I lived.

sorry about the histrionics, I just have a "masculine complex" about being dependent on my parents I guess.

But for sers if you need cash, walk into a restaurant and ask if they need a dishwasher for that night. Restaurants always need dishwashers. And those hoses are fun.

Bad mood. Girlfriend is still away, and in this stretch of her trip she's out on a cruise ship so it's pretty much impossible to get in touch with her even for the next few days.

Also, I have to be constantly getting a ton of work done to make this moving plan work, and my parents are visiting and preventing me from getting things done.

Your username always reminds me of Arnold Lane if that makes you feel any better. :)*

I moved out of my mothers house recently and she took it upon herself to clean off my bookshelf and shove everything in a fucking box. Not only does it drive me absolutely nuts when people go through my shit, but now I can't find my favorite edition of Catcher in the Rye, Animal Farm and a few other books. even worse, she threw the first pedal I ever built in there, and it is now broken.

Roommate feels the need to blast Danzig. Along with Motorhead, it's my opinion that Danzig is one the most boring and un-talented acts I've heard. Over-hyped for who know's what reason.

I feel the same about my stuff. My parents only come into my room to talk to me if I'm up there, which involves walking in and sitting down on my bed in the most extreme cases, they know it's just how I am though. I have those same books too, classics. I hope you can resolve the situation.
