durp. ALSO, KitKats are actually the easiest thing to do, since i grab them from the Airport before i fly i've already checked my bag and they just get thrown into whatever pile of duty free stuff i have. simmmmmmmmmmmmmmmple.

On the topic of straight-to-the-jack, I've always enjoyed simpler setups with controls. My G&L never had problems, and sounded fine, so it stayed all knob-y. But, my Grabber's pots broke within a month of getting it, so instead of buying new pots, I just went straight to jack. I had a show the night I was fixing it, so I figured "EH!" and did it. I've never changed it. It sounds so damned good. So good that with this EGC I'm getting soon, it doesn't have any knobs at all. Just a jack, no holes or anything. SO excited. I figure if I get to the point where I need a volume knob, I'll buy a volume pedal.
