moooof. I'm tried most all modular sequencers with sliders, and i WANT to love them, but... i think they're not my jam?
with the Stillson, i would always get lost with what was going on where?
Nerdz is doooooope. not as immediate as the Stillser?

yeah. kind of what i was thinking. it's a beast of a bud bud, but it's a HUGE departure from the immediacy of a Stillson/Metroplix/Varigate.
murrrrrrrrrrr. been moving stuff around and it's silly to keep trying to have a few cases in different spots in my music yarea. went back to a 12u. top half is kinda a personalized Erica Techno System, bottom half is effects and mixing and bringing outside synths into modular effects playzone.

Very cool and intense rack there behndy
How do you like the Miasma and Alter? Both seem very intriguing - I've got an Anima and from that I'm super impressed with this company

they're good! wouldn't say basic, because they do what they do really well, maybe... very.... focused? it's a little disappointing that the Alter is mono not stereo, but they were both made before their was a lot more focus on stereo effects in euro.

Yeah I do find that a really disappointing omission personally - but as you say not super shocking.

yep. IT WAS A DIFFERENT TIME.
finally got all my MIDI, audio and power routing done cleanly. and yessssssss patchbays.
empty space is for the Motor Synth which suuuuuuuuposedly will ship October/November (chip shortages and updates to firmware and hardware have pushed my order wayyyy back. i get it. it's hard times right now.).
half the hardware synths and the MPC One are default routed to 16 channels of the mixer, with two patchbays everything Out can go to everything In.

Wait, has that matrix mixer actually been announced somewhere?!?
I really like the 4MS VCAM, but it's big and if I'm gonna play out, I have to really consider how much I want it. My recent dive into wanting stereo distortion says, yeah, I do so that I can mix which sides are going into which distortion.
Speaking of, looking at getting a TRSHMSTR to compliment the SSF Triptych. 2 distortion-y filters seem like they would compliment each other well. I've held of the ritual stuff for the reason's Behndy's said. I mean he told me and I believed him, so.....
I'm also thinking about getting an NLC Let's Splosh because I really need more modulation and the thought of having 16 related outs seems perfect. Plus matching positive/negative outs could be really useful for stereo panning stuff. Also, I already have a Sport Mod 2 coming, so buying another modulation generating module doesn't seem ideal.
Finally, WMD Kraken looks tasty as fuck.

jebus. do NOT like the GR-1.
01) i think i need to accept that granular sampling/synthesis is not really for me.
02) everything i could do with the GR-1 i could do better and quicker in Live, and i use that all the time soooooo....
03) fuck me. getting audio into the GR-1 is so damn cumbersome. have to record it down, copy it to a USB stick, pop the stick over the the Grrrrr, load it in and save it.
i... i am never going to reliably do 03.
did sound really cool once it got going. but. no. not for me. no thank you
traded it for a Flame Mäander! which i am MUCH more excited for!

Wow, that actually looks amazing! I've kind of given up on drum machines as I've never been all that inspired by any that I've played, but that one actually makes me a bit excited again. Not sure if I can get behind the alleged $2000 price tag

Modular has taken the backseat for me recently but the new joranalogue modules look great!
