I wrote eric a few days ago but I have not heard back.

I agree it is about giving but it is also about the excitement of opening something from an ILF brother you dont know. For me its not about the stuff its about thought, knowing that someone dug through your posts to get you something special it does not need to be much but anything would be cool. The ILF SS should be about getting to know each other better. I want this to keep going on year after year but it wont last long if people think they can sign up get free shit than disappear. On the other hand I may get a package tomorrow and it may be the same for everyone else waiting.

...mmmmm, yes, on one level that's true. Fuzzy warm feeling of the Xmass time and the joy of giving and all.

But it's also about upholding the ILF society. Mutual trust and respect relay on such frail things as trust and suspended disbelief.

THEN AGAIN, as said alraedy, nobody has yet been screwed officially, nobody has yet been declared dog food. Perhaps things have just got out of control and people have run into unsuspected force majeure. Hopefully things get settled nicely.
