also, got all the bits (except the Behind The Scenes trigger and accent cables for Erica drum modules working in tandem with the Drum Sequencer) for a version of the Erica Techno System, first mumble -

I'm surprised it took them this long to pull something like that. Also surprised they didn't just go all in and make a Clouds/Beads clone

Honestly, I can't recall rooting for an instrument manufacturer to crash and burn until now. Absolutely shameless scum. The last few years of their actions have been embarrassing and they get a free pass just because they make cheap clones.

I think my next purchase is going to be a Salmple.

The Assimil8or seems incredible but it's twice as much and out of stock everywhere. The Salmple seems like it could be a good miniature S950 for more than just drums and one shots.

Thanks! Yeah tyme sefari looks less capable but people still do cool things with it. Maybe there will be a mkiii? :idk:

Yeah lubadh looks cool, nebulea too. The SDS does seems to have a non-intuitive interface... There is one on reverb rn but as many discontinued or rare stuff the seller is asking for more than the price of a brand new one :picard:

moopers.

still spending most time i get to sit down and noise around getting my head around the Erica Black and Drum Seqs. really enjoying them. kinnnnnda wish they made a V2 of the Drum that was more in line with the way the Black rolls interface style. they're both jusssst different enough to take more effort than they should to get muscle memory style with. would be nice if they had an almost identical interface.

still. super enjoying them.

messing around with a droney with an acid bit thing -

that's one of the glitchy modules i never grabbed. i'm so bad at names i space module monikers if it's been a hinute. i remember liking most i tried, but they were very all or nothing?

the Sarajewo sounds gooooooood. i'm waiting on some long cables to hookup my patchbay and have outs from synths into modular effects, can't wait to run the Reface CP and Vector through the pitch shifty TEMPO AND SCALE sync'd analog goodness.

Real nice. Sarajewo remains on the maybe list, sounding really good there. I love doing this kind of clocked delay time manipulation. :thumb:
