The description makes it sound like it just needs new pots. Although it also sounds like they maybe don't know what they're talking about so could be a big gamble. That's not the actual guitar for sale though. Those are stock pictures and you get a different body and neck.

i'd contact the seller and ask to choose my neck and body from photos. i wouldn't spend $800 unless i knew that i liked the grain patterns and the wood was reasonably straight. i'm intrigued by rosewood guitars...i got to play one of the George Harrison Telecasters and it was a really unusual instrument that was very different from your typical Tele, very dark and not the least bit twangy. i could make it sound exactly like the solo on "Let It Be."
