GNUHHH

Which delay did you part with?

The day before yesterday I was in a borderline panic trying to think of what to sell to scoop up a RRR from the b/s/t. Still want it SO bad. It's like the one pedal I actually "need". The Elements is totally sick. I think you'll dig it.

Well, my DMM has been sitting on the sidelines ever since my AD9 came. Not because I don't like how the DMM sounds, it's just I've always got to keep it in a loop, and it's so large, and this and that. I LOVE how it sounds. But I think someone should really be playing it every day. And who better than Mr. Doc Sci?? HE WILL MAKE IT SOUND MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN I EVER COULD.

Once I tweaked the trimpots on the AD9 I got it to be really workable with my playing, without having to worry about pedalboard realistate, true-bypass loops, the DMM preamp, etc. I fucking LOVE the chorus on the DMM. But now this is just an excuse to get a Cosmi V3... :!!!:

All ready been done ;) Burial Chamber (death) > elements (returning from whence you came) > Timeline (flashback of your life) > Space (your soul moving into the great beyond)

I had one of those pyramid RRR's that i got with the elements, but it didn't play well with either of my strymon pedals that wern't going anywhere at the time, it made some kind of power feedback loop (even with the isolated outs of my pp2+) and was basically unusable do to that. It sucks because it sounded absolutely amazing, but the space is just unreal.

Yeah you're preaching to the choir on that one Skullz. I did pretty much the exact same thing for the same reasons. The AD-9 is so underrated I think. I guess it's sort of plain sounding but to me it's perfect

The new Cosmichorus sounds so good. The V2 I had was my baby.. Bummed I had to sell it

@Ancient- MINE WILL BE BABY CRYPTIC COMPAIRED TO YOURS
@Officer- I held a special place in my small cold heart for the DMM, but like you said, the AD-9 is pretty underrated. I was expecting pretty run of the mill, but after tweaking I can get it to sound pretty lush!

And I fucking hate chorus. Except for the DMM's, and the new Cosmi that is coming out. That shit cray

Yeah I hate chorus too but the chorus from my Memory Man and Cosmichorus were pretty awesome.

You should make your own chorus, man! I know making an analog chorus is pretty intense and expensive, but you could do a PT2399 based chorus too. I dunno about you, but the pedals I build for myself tend to be my favorites. The exception would be analog delay I guess since that shit is crazy to build I'm too lazy

@Ancient: hahahahah

@Officer: Yeah. I like building pedals that I wouldn't usually care for otherwise. I'll definitely have to make a PT2399 chorus. I think chorus/flange/phase sounds AMAZING on bass, but then on guitar I only SOMETIMES like phaser. Weird...

Do you know of any DIY flanger circuits other than the Madbean Mistress? I kinda want a flanger to use as a crazy chorus/vibrato but I don't really have any money..

Not off the top of my head, but you could always check tagboardeffects.blogspot.com
That's where I get most of my vero layouts from at least!

Hmm.. Dunno if I want to do a flanger on vero anymore. That shit is intense. Maybe I should just grab an Ibanez flanger or something? I dunno shit about flangers

I really like Mark's Deep Blue Delay layout. So compact and sweet sounding!

Btw I just got a Shark Tank! How do I do that fancy link in my sig like yours?

merlinb has designed a pt2399 flanger. From what I understand, the minimum delay of the pt2399 is too slow for flanging, so he has used two and delayed the clean slightly.

I'm not good enough to build it, but I read a lot ;)
