Well... Bought a ES general cv. It will have a place in the rack while I wait for the C&P and might replace something like the pachinko I have (also 12hp) or just give me a reason to buy another case in the next few months if I feel every modules have their place in there. :)

The general cv, while not having the best ui from what I've seen, looks really fun for piano sounds, drum machine, effects, sample loops... :!!!:

bldhehrhhrhrhruhdhhs. takes so lonnnnnnnng to setup a new room. keeping getting little hiccups that add a few days of research/waiting on parts. right now trying to get my second monitor to work without ordering a new video card.

miss doing noise, and i'm where i coulllllld mess around with Live based soft stuff, i know if i do i'll slow down even more on setting shizz up.

question for peoples that use audio patchbays. i was planning out mines and what seemed to make sense to me was grouping all the synth together, the hardware effects boxes together, and matching the outputs to the inputs so things are normalled to how i would prominently route things without patching. like so -

am i doing anything stupid?

HELLO VOID.

haven't had time to play with the patchbay routing for more than a few synths, but seems solid so far.

hello.

That patch bay looks infinitely complicated. I don't understand patch bays and patch bays confuse me. Godspeed with your patch bay.

I've got a Michigan Synth Works uDervish multi-FX unit arriving today. Seems pretty esoteric. Hopefully it will rule face and FX my signals!

patchbays are weird! conceptually i'm super intimidated by them. but if you dive in for a hinute, all it's doing is breaking out your audio outs and ins so they're... patchable.

it's like turning a studio of hardware into the most basic eurorack interface possible.

Got myself a Flight of Harmony Choices (joystick). Sent it through mob of emus in quantizer mode, then through rings. Playing scales with the joystick  :joy:

Am I a genius or does everyone already tried that for fun but never posted a video of it on youtube?

So I once again have succumbed to the marketing blitz and ordered a Rainger Snare Trap. Planning to use the external inputs on it with my No Ctrl and Strega. Should make for some fun times!

So I am definitely enjoying the Snare Trap already! Here's a little patch with a drone built from the Werkstatt, Matriarch, and Strega with the No Ctrl sending pitch to Strega and triggers to Snare Trap:

yo, I just dropped a dub record called "DROPE." You can hustle over here and give it a listen. Thanks for considering, fellows!

This is pretty cool! Snare trap definitely doesn't seem too bad particularly playing with a semi modular setup with some CV.

Snagged a FSS Gristleizer TG5 preamp on reverb. Really excited about it!
I might want to get more gristleizer modules if I do like it. I've liked what I've heard so far on yt. I think I really do need some more vca and mixers tho.

Goddamn I can't wait to receive my Trogotronic case and the few modules I still haven't received (TG5, Blck_Noir, Castor and Pollux... I think that's it)!
