RUDE!

But really, the biggest faux paux aside from the M&Ming at all is the missed opportunity for candy dot inlays (maybe Necco had nothing to say and didn't say it), or googly/stoned eyed inlays. And I guess a circular shape would have just been too costly (again, just wrap it in a chocolate shell already).

I like the headstock and if the body was stripped I'd consider it.

Edit: can't comment on any guitar w/o saying no wang bar 1/10

guitars in this thread fall into these categories:

corporate prizes/gifts:
such as the above m&m’s guitar, these are guitars meant for a wall because you happen to like said product and guitars. but actually playing with them live is a faux pas.

the art student guitar:
diy finishes that just went wrong. really wrong. their ideas were probably fairly awesome, but their actual finish ended up being a huge mess....

the out-of-control’s:
the multiple penis guitars, the heavily carved and sculpted.
these are the type you play with live, but i’m sure very few people actually have chops to outshine their guitar’s looks

the steve via signature models:
kind of says it all

Reverb makes this too easy...

"This guitar is unique and will satisfy the most discriminating of guitar players.
The Retro Rattler#1 is the result of hundreds of hours research, design and craftsmanship. "

The one on the left’s just boring. The one on the right’s kind of cool. Like a 60’s stereo, or a vintage 50’s car ad.

Looks like a 7 year old tried to draw an offset in MS Paint.

And why have an offset that actually prevents you from playing high up the neck?
The cutaways are supposed to be for upper-fret access. That thing looks like it
was cut out with left-handed kindergarten scissors by a right-handed preschooler
and glued together out of construction paper and popsicle sticks.

Yeah that is a pretty gross guitar. The lower contours look like it would be super uncomfortable to play over your leg sitting down. Also it looks like the neck pickup is oriented too far towards the top of the guitar. The strings aren't even over the pole pieces. Could be an optical illusion.
