sadly I do not. I actually wouldn't mind having an EQ pedal though, I could use it since my guitar amp doesn't have an EQ section. I could also use it for some filtering or something. for a splitter could I get like a boss LS2 or something?

Those supposedly have a million uses, so that seems like a good combo to me.

I was searching around for something else and I ran across this thread from last year about the first Buchla circuit...which was a distortion device using one of the first (if not the first) transistors around. It was call the "Buchla Machine". Must have been from the 1950s and has to be one of the earliest transistor fuzzes!

Got a $10 credit at GC for doing a survey. Considering getting a Moog expression pedal for $30 out of pocket or a plastic Behringer clone of a Boss pedal, (FZ-2 Fuzz, VB-2 Vibrato, or PN-2 Trem/Pan) for $15. I'm thinking the expression is really the right call, since I'm probably not springing for a Source Audio Reflex very soon.

MXR Kerry King 10 band EQ pedal has two outputs (not sure of configuration, check)

Boss Bass Chorus CEB-3 can probably do what you want.

I've been using a Realistic Reverb for a (noise) loop/source (Out goes into In, etc) which is pretty darn loud and I can adjust the pitch (but not much else) but it has good screech capabilities. This unit works great when mangling the signal further downstream. However, it's footprint is rather large for such a simple sound source. What else could I use? Are there any micro pedals which could do that? (I'm big into tiny boxes lately). I guess a Digitech Death Metal would probably work in a bassier way, but maybe you have some gooder ideas (Mongo not smart). What pedals can self oscillate or make a noise loop, and maybe have some adjustable parameters, and not a big footprint. The Realistic unit used to be 15 dollars all day long, now people want 30 dollars and more on Ebay, which kind of defeats the original appeal of cheapness. I might even spend a little more on something if its **special**.

Has anyone tried the Black Forest on bass/vi? I'm looking for a really dark low gain overdrive for clean parts.

I've used a Colorsound Overdriver clone which the Black Forrest is based on. It's not bad on bass. But there is better. Mid-fi Demo Tape Fuzz with the gain wound back and the bass wound up is a killer bass overdrive.

That's not a bad idea either. I'm using dual rats right now and have an rm-1n on the way which is awesome for shoegazey stuff, but I want something heavier that makes it more obvious I'm playing bass

Yeah the Mid-fi is so versatile on guitar or bass. I'm a resent convert and I love it a lot. Clean boost all the way to fuzz with a great eq section. What's not to love :idk: And if you starve the voltage you get some more awesome lower-fi tones to play with.

I have $1200 in my paypal that I was going to use towards a custom bass vi, but watching this unit really makes me want to go into modular. So. Conflicted.
