Dimarzio 36th Anniversary in both. I'll see if I can sort it out tonight...when I open up the back and see all those wires I freak the fuck out. Just pisses me off that someone who runs a guitar shop can't check to make sure everythings good to go.

EDIT: I can't fix this shit. Fuck just do your job!!!!

Oh yeah, I love this one. SHIT RAINBOWS!!! :!!!:

Tracked two more songs for drums tonight :animal:
Two songs left to do and then guitar, vocs and fine tuning. Some of its coming out pretty good for a DIY with cheapo gear :yay: I'm actually enjoying the process and not stressing and battling band members :success:

I love the smileys here :surprise:

I've heard those can be modded easily with great results, might be worth looking into.

On another note, I think we've secured a practice place. Know what that means? Both rigs up and running again. Using just one halfstack was making me feel neutered. :picard:

Just thought I'd say hi. I've always been a big fan of doom and stoner, just no time for a project to come to life it seems.

You poor, poor man. One halfstack seems so :idk: weak? I'll never go back to a one amp rig. I'd like to make it 4

Edit to say if anyone here has only one amp, I heard there's a pretty fucking sweet one in the BST right now, at that price for what it is, I'm tempted.

i'm not going to go back and try an multi-quote all the shit i read over the past 25 pages or whatever, so i'll just try and post some random responses to shit here.

crohny- welcome, dude. and, your tendency towards heavies will be embraced here. i know i've hardly posted here but i've lurked a bunch. you will not find other threads where people are posting justin beiber or some shit on this forum. you will not be seen as intrusive. the whole forum will be welcoming. no one posted beiber even on hcfx, but this place is cooler. i mean, it's called i love fuzz. it's the place for us. the whole forum is cool. it's not hc. i know we're all a little traumatized from that place, and the doom room here is a good escape, but the whole forum is actually really different and welcoming.

also, i think emptyparadigm's doom list is awesome and pelliot's suggestions are great as well. i can get behind those. except my favorite yob album is catharsis, and those who think otherwise are incorrect. "the unreal never lived" which everyone else seems to be into is a close second, but catharsis is the fucking one.

also, i'm way more into fucking super dark, depressing funeral doom than most, it seems. although i think emptyparadigm mentioned asunder " a clarion call", which i think is one of the best doom albums ever. and he may have mentioned a few others of the really dark shit. but i'll leave this here in case anyone's into that kind of stuff.

the fucking reverb on those clean parts is so fucking awesome too, which is why i picked this particular one( skip to 1:10 for the first snippet). nortt is the very best of the best of very darkest of the funeral doom black metal blend.

also, conky, hello and welcome.

also, for the ilf folks who don't yet know d-day, he has created one of the best fuzz pedals i've ever played in my fucking life. the ape blaster, not quite in production yet. i've played a trillion dirt pedals and i'm super picky and have very specific needs and this simple, one knob contraption just blows my mind. you can't wait, i guarantee.

i can't remember what else i was going to say, but i'm sure y'all have written five pages since i started writing this, so , whatever.
