I've been getting reverse osmosis'd water to remove heavy metals and seems like it's been for the better.
:idk:
But getting back to basics because of my allergies too.
Which I think are part my fault from being vegetarian and not eating properly for a longtime.
All veggie meats are wheat gluten based. And I used to drink way too much milk when I was young.
So pretty much just organic chickpeas, spinach, soybeans and fruit/veggies.
Some organic olive oil.
And my lifeblood, Louisiana hot sauce.
Some chips if they're simple ingredients like kettle.
And whiskey and Florida's natural OJ.
Kind of defeats some of it, but you can only do so much.
AMIRIGHT?

but need to start exercising again.
did some pushups the other night.
just need to stay on it.

When you go to the dentist and he/she uses flouride, have you noticed how you're not supposed to swallow it? They have that little vacuum going on in your mouth.... At least that's what I remember. To touch on what aens_wife said about not being able to afford stuff....I haven't been to the dentist in a long while. I avoid sugar pretty hard though and floss and pick my teeth regularly. I've also heard (not confirmed) that the flouride dentists use is a different grade than the stuff they dump in the water supply.

Things you can add to your diet that are cheap and good :thumb:
Quinoa and buckwheat (both are complete proteins)
Lentils
Nuts. All kinds of nuts.
Avocados.
EXACTLY...
and how there's toxic labeling on fluoride products and poison control numbers
it was kind of strange how I started eliminating it too
one night I wanted to watch documentaries and one about fluoride came up that looked interesting
and then there was no going back
I was already trying to repair my health from stress and poor diet
my life has been fucked for some number of years now
trying to rise but things are crazier than I ever remember
anyways, I just got back from training for a temp gig to do taxes
FUN!
and getting drunk n' high. but I always think that the whiskey has fuckin' fluoride in it.
sometimes there's only so much you can do
I try to focus on this mantra
to limit your exposure
to anything harmful
wether it be chemicals or energy
anyways, something to think about on this crazy journey

Since our health insurance is garbage, I am going to try to take care of myself better and hope that fixes some issues bc we cannot afford lots of testing by medical professionals.

In other news, I hate that I can't go to the doctor even though I pay $300 a month for insurance. Sigh.
Dude, what the fuck?! That's lame as.

Good luck with the weight loss, anyways.

Guys, I wouldn't stress too much about the flouride thing.
But reverse osmosis filters rule because tap water tastes like shit.

I'm thinking of getting right into this bodyweight/calisthenics/Al Kavaldo shit.
Mostly because I want more of this in my life

Thanks man. I have been really good about it this week. Went to the gym on Saturday and Sunday and then shoveled snow yesterday. My legs finally don't feel like jelly, so I'll go back to the gym tonight.

Our tap water is really good, so I don't mess with filters. Not really worried about fluoride, either. Maybe I should be, but I am not going down that rabbit hole : )

And I can't even do one full pull-up, so...probably not going to do more of them :erm:

I lost 20lbs since November by riding my bike pretty much everyday, eating healthier, and cutting way back on my drinking. The last 10lbs give or take before I get back to my ideal weight is taking forever to go away though.

not a fan of regular tv or fox at all except for the xfiles connection
but at least there's some signs of the masses getting informed
at least if it's just the superficial knowledge

Hey guys, does anyone have much experience coming back from injury?

I was part of a rowing crew who were training for a national championship run in 12/13 when I shredded my hip one day just doing a free squat (no weight). It was probably a result of our workload, which was usually about 20-24 hours a week between cardio, weights and actual rowing and a real cunt of an old school coach. On a still growing 18 year old it was kinda crazy.

But anyway, I still to this day have a decent amount of discomfort through the area (sacroiliac joint) and have had several bouts of Osteitis Pubis from walking all weird ever since. I can't really run too much anymore without a fair bit of discomfort.

But yeah im just basically looking for good ways to ease back into it and shed a few Kgs, despite the fact I can't really do any intese cardio due to the pain through my left hip and groin. Any advice/experience?
I've joined a cheap local gym this week and have been utilising the bikes and some weights, as well as doing a few hours of core exercises and cutting shit out of my diet. Anything else?

As someone still doing this my advice is know where your limits are.
Like really. Know how to and when to stop to not refuck that thing.
Then just take steps from there.
You probably won't be doing as much as you think you can, but fuck that because you'll get there eventually, as long as you don't try to get there immediately.

I've started going to the gym again this week and the first week soreness is fucking hell. My thighs have felt like bricks for 2 days now. This is enough to remind me never to stop going to the gym.

I like a good soreness, and I usually feel it like once a week when I bust out on the squat rack, but I'm talking "first time working out in forever soreness." Like, it hurts to sit down/get up right now.

yeah, i kind of like that. gives you the impression that no matter what you eat when you feel like that will help build your body
Agreed. I have kind of enjoyed the proof that my efforts are doing something. If I am not sore at all after a workout, it feels like I could have done more. lol.

I have been really good about going to the gym 3-5 times per week. Mixing cardio and weights/strength training. I am not weighing myself right now, but I can definitely tell the difference overall. Also, it has helped my anxiety and sleep patterns.
