hahaha yeah it looks like a thing that is both very simple and probably has a few tricks.
Got Pressure Points and Brains in today. wooo. Rack is neeeearrrrly full, and this thing is EXTREMELY fun and just what I was looking for.

I've tried a couple of fancy sequencers (Rene V2 and I have a Five12 Vector), never really found them satisfying, even with the Vector's options for chance and variation (which just make everything more complex. The Eurorack has been neglected for a few months, set it all up again in an easy to access spot and just started twiddling knobs and I find it more involving without a note sequencer - an LFO into pitch and something else entirely clocking a LPG for now, modulate by hand.
Thinking I need to sell the Vector after I move and unpack and get a quantizer, a filter and a Zadar.

Yeah, I am going away from fancy sequencers also haha - I thought that's what I wanted but as I play with stuff, I think I was wrong. Pressure Points plus Brains, plus clocks and LFOs, plus a quant and switch and some logic, is enough. It's all just more hands on and FUN. And I can use midi in if I ever really want to do grid sequencing.

Anyone here have experience with Industrial Music Electronics (harvestman) modules? Never really paid much attention to them and seems like they are less popular than mutable, make noise etc but still seems to have a good following. I just took a look a Piston Honda mkiii and Kermit mkii and goddamn they look and sound great! I think I'll put them on my wishlist

i really like the balance of features packed in there and the ergonomics. also the fact that there's usually an attenuverter on each important input makes them great for a smaller system.
Yeah it really seems to pavk alot of features in little hp but still have a functional and ergonomic layout with big knobs.
Piston Honda mkiii is actually 2 oscillator, unlike the mkii. But yeah I didn't realize it was super similar to the HD. I'll watch some videos to compare both.
Kermit really seems great too. I almost want to forget about zadar and get a kermit instead and find a more traditional envelope on the cheap.
At this point I know I'll expand my 92hp so I'm not even worried about that anymore
If I can sell my last boogie amp before too long, I might buy 2 or 3 of the following (black sequencer, hermod, Piston Honda (or HD), Kermit). Oh and probably some vca

not modular, but damn the EssenceFM is DELICIOUSLY deep yet with a well thought out interface. need to go through some patches whilst reading through the manual.

Thanks for the explication. Watched a few more videos. I am definitely getting a PH and a Kermit when I sell my boogie. Also eyering Hermod and Erica Black Sequencer. Add a few vca and maybe a second filter and I think I'll be set for a while...
Or not since I am typically out of control with this stuff

hello All,
Please check out my new release, a split cassette with Too Hands called HOUSEHOLD GOD PROTECTION. Lots of modular and other electronic bits were used in the creation of these recordings.
