Slow night at work.

I spent last night browsing etsy for ridiculous clothes for when it's warm enough.
Finna buy me some harem pants and Nehru jackets in a few weeks when I have my first "not going to a ton of bills" check.

Who was it that was like "I don't know about this girl/guy, he/she just bailed on me tonight to clean the house."

And then everyone was like "yo that don't mean a thing."

Here is proof.

I don't have a coat rack and haven't been doing laundry. My room is turning into a damn nest. That's really the extent of it, luckily. I'm pretty sure I can get most of the clothes hidden away without much work.

I need to get this shit under control before I have anyone stay over though, hahaha.

I just got a fast track scholarship for secondary education.
That means I get paid part time training while I finish studying then a PERMANENT job guaranteed.
This is a huge deal in NSW and probably Aus where everything is contract based now.
No contracts, no casual, straight out forever if I want it.
Time to get a house or something

That's awesome dude! I'm considering doing teaching because I don't know what I'm going to do with a straight bachelor of arts (if I don't drop out)

That's cool! Just keep in mind with the way teaching works with a Bachelor of Arts you'll probably end up teaching Geography for the rest of your life... To teach any of the society and culture senior subjects you gotta teach HSIE to 7-10. Since History requires special History study that means Geography... Talks about it here wish I'd known in undergrad

This gives you the idea. I lucked into Art, Graphics, D&T and Multimedia with a Graphic Design Degree. National shortage for everything except Art

My Grandpa sold a couple of his paintings and gave some of the money to my Sister and myself (for a number of different reasons)

Bought myself of of these beauties

It took me ages to decide, the 'Pro' has a coily cable of Doom (which I love) unlike the 'Premiums'. But the premiums are much more comfortable and less clampy.

New business cards designed. Will be sending the design out tomorrow to get printed. Big meeting with some tech startups in about two weeks to see if I can pick up some new clients.

Yeah, that's incredible, congrats man!!

I think i'm gonna apply for a teaching exchange program once i finish my degree next year. A bachelor of sound & music design is pretty useless unless I want to go into post-production or broadcasting, and fuuuuuuck thaaaat.

Nice! Headphones ftw! I snagged a pair of sennheiser momentums for xmas...they don't have audiophile street cred, but they sound 1000x better than the klipsch ear buds I was using.

I love the Simple English version of Wikipedia
Rock music wrote:Like popular music, rock music lyrics are mostly about "romantic love". They can also have social or have political themes, however. Nearly all rock musicians are white, male people.

Doom metal wrote:Doom metal is a form of heavy metal. The music sounds heavy and it is slower than other metal genres. Lyrics play a very important part in this genre. They are normally about sad subjects like pain, death and pessimism.

Gnosticism wrote:The demiurge is thought to be the same as the God of Abraham. The demiurge may be seen as evil, or sometimes just not perfect but doing the best it can.

The real God who is good, is distant and not easy to know.

Dinosaur Jr wrote:The band is famous for J Mascis' good guitar sounds and his powerful guitar solos.

caption wrote:Bleeding Heart Dove. (It is coloured feathers!)

Laugh wrote:You can write a laugh in different ways. Some people write "ha ha ha", or "he he he", or "hehe". If they are on the internet, they also use "LOL". "LOL" does not sound like a laugh, but it stands for Laughing Out Loud.
