He just designed for them, I don't think he does anymore though... could be wrong though.

oc44 range master with a switch for 5n or 105n input cap (100n + 5n). this one has a battery and power hookup but its not the switched power jack. you just have to remove the battery if you plug it in. space is tight. my brother thinned his black enamel for use with the airbrush so now it looks like marker :picard:

That finish = Surface of the moon

I mean that in a good way, happy accident or intentional?

Gave what appears to be the current spec meathead a go. Added the LED and I'm going to put in a BC337 and a BC183L

when I get a bad etch, I paint it.

when I get bad paint I burn it :(

then with my luck the black paint that was fine yesterday is gonna be like water today. I wanna burn it again and shoot it out of a cannon. but really though, its probably a pretty sweet pedal I just haven't tested yet.

how many meatheads have you made now?

Waaaaaaaaaay too many

Everyone I make I always say I'll keep for myself but I end up getting rid of...I made 10 of them at one point and I still have 3 left :animal:

I really do love the circuit though, I'm sure it's just tolerances but every one seems to have it's own slight nuances and characteristics.

although I never built a MH, I would say that this is very much the way of the handmade fuzz. gotta love it.

I tested the rangemaster today, it sounds great in treble or mid boost. really diggin it. 100n probably has its shoulder frequency below low E but when I'm in the neck pickup with the guitar tone half way, I get this really sweet mid boost on middle G. its really touch sensitive to how hard you play. not like anything I've ever played.

the left controls the delay repeats hard left more overdriven trails and more reverby hard right dry super clean more for a recording type situation and left more for more guitar and so forth and the other control is for the oscillations or u can use it push it for longer delay times or instant oscillations by itself, they all play into each other to get some extra sounds and options

its a loop switcher with a volume knob on the bypass. its main use is to make your low output pedals usable by matching the volume of the bypass. BUT its also a loop switcher. AND it can be a switchable attenuator if you jumper send/return with a 6in cable. or just an attenuator if you dont use the footswitch at all. no power on this one. it does have a grounded send also.
