JapanPost/USPS lost this pedal among others when I moved back to the US. RIP. Can anyone tell me if there's a difference in sound between the older (probably ~2010?) and the newer Hoofs?

Different transistors used across years have definitely affected the tone, and earlier versions are generally more sought after. I've had a bunch, both three and four knob versions, and that orange is the one I've kept.
Special low-frequency version.
